What area of uThando are you involved in?

I am one of the founding members and a Trustee. I also help with the
website and IT related jobs.

Tell us where you grew up and a little about your family?

I was born in a small town called Zeist in Holland. We moved to Cape
Town when I was 7 years old. My dad is South African and my mom is
German and I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

It's been a privilege growing up in a international family, although it can also be a bit
hard to not be able to see my siblings much, as three of them live in
Europe. I'm now married to the wonderful Sheralyn, who's also part of
the uThando team.

How did you come to know Christ?

Both my parents are on-fire christians. They influenced my life
dramatically, and by the age of 6 I had become a Jesus-follower.

How did you become involved with uThando?

I was part of the founding team.

What is your 'day' job?

Sheralyn and I work at Jubilee Community Church in Observatory as a the Student Leader. I am also a freelance web developer.

How would you describe yourself?

Ordinary guy serving an extra-ordinary GOD!

What is the best thing about being involved in uThando?

Seeing God work miracles in the lives of kids, adults and myself.
Growing so much in every way. Learning lots about myself and people.
Falling more in love with my heavenly Father. Seeing others touched by
God's love.

Your favourite joke?/ something random about you/anything 'light'
you want to add...

I'm really not good at remembering jokes. The only joke I really
remember is the one my older sister used to tell A LOT. That's
probably the only reason I remember it. I'm still trying to figure it
out though.
