Dear Friends, Supporters and Prayer Team
God is so good and so Faithful! The last couple of months have been up and down for us at uThando. But in an through all of it, we have constantly seen God’s amazing provision and faithfulness!

House Parents
Update: We have been blessed to invite Natasha and Albert Pote, onto our team as full time house parents. Albert and Natasha have committed a year of their life to serving children through uThando. They have experience working with vulnerable children in Russia and we really believe that God has drawn us together! The house is now open and waiting children between the ages of 5-12 years.

Praise Item: Albert and Natasha have an amazing heart for God and a wonderful heart for children!  We truly believe they are an amazing answer to prayer!

Prayer Request: Please pray that Albert and Natasha will know God’s wisdom and love in dealing with the children. Please also pray that the right children will come in at the right time. It can be frustrating to have beds open, when we know there are so many children in need of care. But we also trust God for His perfect timing.

Staffing
Update: We have decided to move away from (purely) volunteers to having fulltime staff. This has been a big step for us, but we truly believe that it will bring a lot of stability and life to uThando.  (However we would still LOVE to have people volunteer!). Sheralyn Cloete, who has been a Trustee since we began, is now managing uThando leNkosi Part-Time. We also have two dometic carers who have joined our team, Genevieve and Merle. Over the next few weeks we will be posting ‘interviews’ with our staff, Trustees and Prayer Team, on our new website. Please make sure you make a few visits, www.thehouse.org.za

Praise Item: All of our staff know and love Jesus and want to grow deeper in their relationship with Him. We have a multi-cultural team, and its truly a blessing to grow and learn from one another.

Prayer Request: Please pray that we will continue to be unified in our goal of serving Christ and  Children.

God’s Provision
We just want to thank and Praise God for His amazing provision. He has always provided when we have needed. We believe that it is God who provides our needs, but would like to acknowledge some people who God has used to bless us.

Bosasa: This amazing group of people, do all of our maintenance for free and shop for all of our  grocery needs! We are incredibly grateful to them!

Zant Services: Zant recently did a fantastic job at cleaning up our garden for free.

Regular Donors: We are incredible grateful to those who have set-up monthly debit orders, or have given us one-time gifts. If you have a debit order for us, please can you check that it is set-up for our new ABSA account.

Prayer Team and Trustees: We are thankful to all those who come to our weekly prayer meetings, or to our special ‘event’ prayer meetings. Your pray and support is very encouraging. If you would like to join us at a prayer meeting, please feel welcome to contact Sheralyn.
