uThando leNkosi believes that a safe and loving family environment provides the best context for a child to grow and develop to their full potential.  We long to see Christ-following families welcoming children in need into their homes and accepting them as their own, which is why we have begun the process of developing the Christian Foster Network.

Although we have not yet established this network, we are partnering with other organisations in order to achieve our goal.  These organisations provide us with invaluable help through their wealth of experience, insight and guidance in the area of child placement.
We have found that there are many individuals and families who would love to become involved in caring for children, but do not know where to begin.  If you feel this is something you might be interested in, we would love to help and guide you through the process!

What we do:

• We run information evenings for interested parties that are geared to explain fostering, adoption, emergency care and hosting as options of involvement.
• We meet with individuals and families to discuss and guide their involvement with children in need.
• We assist in training and providing ongoing support for families caring for children.
