The uThando leNkosi Trust began with a group of young, passionate followers of Jesus Christ. We came from different backgrounds, cultures, churches and even different countries! But we all shared a passion for living for God and loving people – especially little ones – and these passions unified us.
Today, our ‘on the ground’ work is undertaken by a dedicated and passionate staff including a General Manager, a Social Worker, and a wonderful House Parent couple. Many of the original members of the uThando leNkosi team are still involved and have been joined by other volunteers from all walks of life. We enjoy expertise in the following areas through our volunteers: social work, public relations, law, psychology, occupational therapy, IT, teaching and paediatrics. We have been privileged to have some volunteers being involved in the day-to-day running of the house, where their help and presence provides the house family with some time off to relax.
Our activities are facilitated and overseen by members of the uThando leNkosi Trust, where Brendan Studti is chairman.
